A metallic bonding mixer is a specialized industrial machine used mainly in powder coating production to create metallic powder coatings with a uniform appearance and strong adhesion between particles.

What it does

It “bonds” metal pigments (like aluminum flakes or bronze powder) onto the surface of base powder coating particles. This ensures that the metallic effect is evenly distributed and doesn’t separate during application.

  How it works

•        Base powder + metallic pigment are loaded into the mixer.
•        The mixer heats the mixture to a controlled temperature (usually below the melting point of the powder).
•        Under high-speed mixing, the softened powder particles allow metallic flakes to adhere (bond) to their surfaces.
•        The mixture is then cooled to fix the bonding.
